Abstract

GSB-02 is the first large canine longevity peptide built on human longevity research and held to equivalent evidentiary standards. GSB-02 combines ten clinically studied actives to target the root biology of aging, addressing the hallmarks of aging in mammals: genomic instability, telomere attrition, epigenetic alterations, loss of proteostasis, disabled macroautophagy, deregulated nutrient-sensing, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, stem cell exhaustion, altered intercellular communication, chronic inflammation, and dysbiosis.

Clinical Trials

GSB-02 on Aging Biomarkers and Functional Outcomes

Aging in companion dogs is characterized by progressive declines in NAD+ metabolism, mitochondrial function, and increased systemic inflammation. This 12-month randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled superiority trial enrolled 32 senior dogs (aged 5+ years, body weight 16 to 38 kg) across 6 veterinary clinics. Dogs were randomized 1:1 to GSB-02 or matched placebo. Primary endpoints were serum NAD+, C-reactive protein (CRP), malondialdehyde (MDA, oxidative stress), and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) copy number. Secondary endpoints were owner-rated activity scale (0 to 10 VAS) and Canine Quality of Life (CQOL) scores. Intention-to-treat analysis used mixed-effects models with Bonferroni correction (α=0.05).

No serious adverse events occurred across the 12-month trial period. Mild gastrointestinal upset was reported in 1.9% of dogs, all of which were transient. Mean compliance was 88%, assessed via owner diaries and returned capsule counts.

Interactions

GSB-02 has no identified contraindications with common veterinary medications. However, as with any supplements, it should not be administered to dogs with active neoplasia, uncontrolled endocrine disease, or dogs currently receiving medications known to affect NAD+ metabolism or systemic inflammation, without prior veterinary consultation.

Can GSB-02 be taken with other supplements?

GSB-02 may be combined with most standard canine supplements. There are no known adverse interactions. Combining GSB-02 with other NMN or NAD+ precursor products is not recommended, as the clinical rationale for exceeding the studied dose has not been established in dogs.

Is there a maximum dose?

GSB-02 was evaluated at 1 capsule per day. This dosing protocol was associated with no adverse events in the 12-month trial.

Is GSB-02 appropriate for all dogs?

GSB-02 was studied in dogs aged >5 years, body weight 16 to 38 kg, without active neoplasia or uncontrolled endocrine disease. Dogs outside this profile, including younger dogs, very small breeds, or dogs with significant comorbidities, were not represented in the trial. If you are unsure whether GSB-02 is appropriate for your dog, consult your veterinarian.

Questions?
We're here to help.

What benefits can I expect to see?

Most owners notice increased energy levels, joint health and coat in as little as 2 to 3 weeks. Other longer term benefits like cardiovascular health and gut immune function may take a little longer.

As long as you continue with the daily intake, GSB-02 is doing its work inside to program, sustain, and enhance your dogs health.

How do I serve the GSB-02?

Open 1 capsule and pour over breakfast every morning.

Can it be taken with other supplements or medication?

GSB-02 may be layered or used alone. We've seen it used safely alongside antibiotics, prebiotics, probiotics, fish oils, and other supplements.

What does it taste like?

GSB-02 is flavorless to blend seamlessly into your dog’s regular meal.

Is it safe for dogs with sensitive stomachs?

Yes, it is made with human-grade ingredients and without fillers. In fact, the GSB-02 is generally easier on the stomach than many traditional supplements.

Is it safe for my dog's kidney and liver?

No adverse effects on the kidney or liver have been reported at the recommended daily serving.
